Cyclist, Pedestrian Dead After Being Struck By Truck On East Side

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Police said two people died Friday after a crash on the East Side involving a truck.

It happened just after 9 a.m. on 61st Street and Third Avenue.

Investigators said one victim was a pedestrian and the other was riding a bike. One was 37, the other 47.

The names of the victims were not immediately released.

The truck driver stayed on the scene and was being questioned.
