1/31 CBS2 Saturday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Matt DeLucia
CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good afternoon, folks! What difference a week makes...  just last week we were dealing with a blizzard! Much quieter this weekend, with a mix of sun and clouds today. We'll be right where we should be, with temps topping out in the upper 30s... some low 40s south of the city. Mostly clear overnight with just a few passing clouds. Still chilly, but not AS cold... low to mid 30s for most, upper 20s for the NW burbs.

Tomorrow will be the milder half under partly sunny skies. We'll bump up the temps about 10 degrees, even some 50s for some. Nice end to January, wouldn't you say?!

Temps stay mild through midweek, with some southern locations breaking the 60 mark come Wednesday! As for precip, there's a slight chance of a shower as a cold front passes Monday. Better bet for rain comes Wednesday. After that, we cool back down into the 30s and 40s.

Check back in soon!
