1/30 CBS2 Saturday Evening Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good evening folks! It was a much nicer lookin' day across the Tri-State compared to yesterday...Even though there was a chill in the air, everyone remained dry. That'll be the case through the night with mainly clear skies. Not as cold as last night, but temps still drop into the 20s outside of NYC...looking for 34 overnight in the Park.

Sunday's gonna be even better - temps could make a run for 50 degrees here in NYC and in parts of NJ. With a forecast high of 48 tomorrow, we'll be a good 9 degrees above normal. There will be some clouds from time to time but we'll remain dry through the day.

Monday will start off the new week and a new month with even warmer temps in the low 50s! Expect mainly cloudy skies and perhaps a few raindrops as a weak front passes through. Temps around 50 on Tuesday with more sunshine...and close to 60 Wednesday with scattered showers.

We'll cool back down to seasonable levels for the end of the week. Will there also be another storm? Check back soon to find out!
