1/28 CBS2 Tuesday Morning Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta, CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Hello everyone!

Expect another cold one today as the snow pack from the storm keeps things a few degrees colder than normal. The sunshine will be ample, but expect some blowing and drifting snow to be a problem out in eastern Long Island.

Afternoon highs: Upper 20s. Winds Chills: Teens. Waking up, the chills will be back into the negative numbers up north.

We dip down into the teens again tonight, but clouds fill in by late tomorrow and Thursday night is not nearly as cold. We can expect some snow thanks to an Alberta Clipper. But it looks to stay north, and lose a lot of energy as it heads our way.

However, we always watch to see how storms interact with the ocean... could mean a few more inches. We'll keep you posted!

Check back in soon for the latest and thanks so much for listening to CBS2! We really appreciate it!
