12/8 CBS2 Thursday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Justin Lewis
CBS2 Meteorologist

We'll see the clouds thin out this afternoon and give way to some sunshine. But a breeze will pick up, so it will feel a little brisk out there. Temps will climb into the mid 40's for the last time, so enjoy it!

Cold, Canadian air will rush in tonight and send our wind chills through the 30s and 20's by daybreak, so be sure to bundle up. Even though it will feel colder, lows will be in the low 30's or so.

A gusty northwest wind will be in place tomorrow and it will be a struggle all day long with our temps. We may manage to climb to near 40°, but with the wind, it's only going to feel like 30° at best.

As for Saturday, we'll start off with subfreezing temps -- even in the city. And we'll catch a break from the winds, but a pretty cold air mass will have already settled in by that point. Temps that day will only rise into the mid 30's or so -- about 10° below normal.
