12/6 CBS2 Saturday Morning Weather Headlines

By Matt DeLucia, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good Morning everyone,

You'll be waking up to overcast skies and some rain this morning, especially north and west of the city. Temps will be starting out in the 40s across the region.

While it'll be dreary today, it does not look like a complete washout. I'm thinking there will be a lull in the rain for early afternoon, with just some scattered showers around. Highs will top out in the low 50s.

A much steadier rain will move back in, however, as we head into late afternoon, and that will continue through the overnight hours into early Sunday, heavy at times. Expect about an inch of rain before it moves out. Don't forget the umbrella if you're headed out tomorrow!

The good news is Sunday will clear out nicely, but it will be cooler and breezy. We'll reach the low 40s, but gusty winds out of the north will make it feel more like the 20s and 30s.

Monday also looks to be dry right now, with increasing clouds ahead of our next system. A coastal storm will likely bring precipitation for us on Tuesday. It's still a little too early to talk specifics, as it hasn't formed yet. Be sure to stay tuned through the weekend as we keep an eye on it.

Have a good one!
