12/28: CBS2 Sunday Evening Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre Jr, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Despite the clouds and rain, we actually ended up with another mild day across the region! Clouds will break up overnight as a cold front moves through and temps will drop into the mid/upper 30s.

Tomorrow will feature a mix of sun and clouds as well as temps about 10 degrees cooler than what we had this holiday weekend. Expect a high of 44 in NYC. Tuesday will feature partly sunny skies with temps dropping even more, down to the mid 30s.

As for any storm chance we were watchin'? Well, it looks like high pressure is gonna win the battle, and knock away any storms to our south. The problem is though, this high pressure will make for a rather cold finish to 2014 on Wednesday with temps only in the low 30s. Folks heading to Times Square or any parties for New Year festivities will need to bundle up with temps at midnight only in the mid 20s!
