12/28 CBS2 Monday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Justin Lewis

The remainder of the afternoon will be quiet, though we will see more clouds push in... temps only topping out in the low 40s.

Snow, sleet, and freezing rain will move in tonight. The city and areas south and east will stay mainly wet, but areas north and west will likely see light snow and ice accumulations through tomorrow morning. That said, the morning rush will be a bit tricky... precipitation wraps up by early tomorrow afternoon.

Wednesday will start off quiet, but it looks like it turns wet into the evening as our final system of 2015 pushes in. Things should quiet down as we head into New Year's Eve with chilly and quiet conditions expected for the ball drop.

Check back for more on our wintry mix and the final days of 2015!
