12/17 CBS2 Wednesday Morning Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta, CBS 2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good morning!

Today brings about some drying from last night's rain event, and mild temps. Depending on how early you rise, you could experience a shower if you live near the twin forks.

Other than that, a stray shower is possible north of New York City, but not much else. Some people living in the southern portions could see the mid-50s today! That's the normal temps for late March. So in fact, it is a taste of spring.

A few flurries are expected tonight as temps drop behind the cold front and a cold day on Friday.

Weekend storm? Looks light, and mild as of now. Of course, the higher elevations can see snow, but as of now it does not look to be a "big impact" event.

But we will watch the systems with a hawk's eye :)
