12/16 CBS2 Tuesday Morning Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta, CBS 2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Morning everyone!

Not as chilly to start today. Clouds are closing in on both sides of Tri-State. I'd say today is a "hiccup" in our weather pattern.

Barring the weak front passing this afternoon, we'd have an almost bone dry stretch of six to seven days! Not bad after spending last week under a nor'easter.... But the rain is light and will really affect most of us from the evening commute moving forward.

Wednesday is another transition day. We hold on to mild temps but clouds acompany us too. A few snow flurries could be on tap for Wednesday if you live well north of the city. Sullivan and Ulster should be on the lookout.

Thursday ushers in the return of seasonably colder air. Check back in shortly for an update!
