12/11 CBS2 Thursday Morning Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta, CBS 2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good Morning Everyone!

You might be seeing a few flurries overhead as you head out the door today. And with the colder temps to start off your day, it's going to be a slick start for some.

If you live in Orange, Upper Rockland, Sullivan, or Ulster Counties some slick driving is to be expected. Give yourself some extra time.

Snow showers will be intermittent throughout the day, but very light. Winds will be gusty and the chills will be felt. Bundle up today!

Just a few flurries are expected tonight. The snow maker cuts off for Friday, making it the first chance we'll have a sun in days.

Saturday brings a mix of sun, clouds, and a few late flurries. Sunday is even brighter.

Check back in soon for an extended look at the forecast.
