11/8 CBS2 Evening Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre Jr, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good evening all!

There sure was a nip in the air across the region today, as highs area-wide were stuck in the middle and upper 40s. The saving grace was that winds weren't doing much at all, so the worst of the chill was definitely earlier this morning.

A weak front approaches tonight with an increase in clouds being the most notable effect. There is a very slight chance of a brief sprinkle overnight, but otherwise we just expect a mainly cloudy night. Expect a low of 42 degrees in Central Park with mid 30s north and west overnight.

Despite early clouds tomorrow morning, we're looking at a beautiful afternoon with clearing skies and temperatures warming up into the middle and upper 50s. That's right where we should be for this time of the year, and things look even better for Monday and Tuesday with highs near 60 on Monday and reaching 65 on Tuesday. If you ask me, that's not too bad for November!
