Sunshine will dominate this afternoon, but it will be a little cooler than yesterday. We're still in good shape tonight, but as we approach dawn, we'll see some light rain and showers work their way into our northwest suburbs. Rain will gradually fill in thereafter with the heaviest pockets of rain arriving in the afternoon... rain will taper off later tomorrow evening.

Rain amounts will be in the 0.5-1.5+" range, so, this, combined with soggy soil from recent snow melt, could potentially lead to urban and stream flooding... National Weather Service has already issued Flood Watches for central and northern NJ for tomorrow through Thursday.

After that, things should quiet down a bit, but by Friday we're talking wind chills in the low to mid 30's!
