11/6 CBS2 Evening Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta, CBS 2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good evening everyone,

The fog and mist we are under right now will persist for a few more hours. Around midnight, winds finally shift north and we start to dry.

But while we didn't receive too too much rain today (around .5 inches for most), it still felt raw and damp.

On Friday, the sun will return but in limited quantities. The low is still too close to forecast a completely dry and sunny day. There is the slight risk of a scattered shower tomorrow, but it's more of the exception, not the rule.

But winds gust STRONGLY tomorrow -- up to 35 MPH near the coastline. Pair that with below-normal temps and we have a chilly finish to the work week.

The weekend outlook -- better! Saturday looks like chilly blue skies topping off near 50, while after a weak front passes overnight Saturday, we add a few degrees to Sunday's high in the mid 50s.

There Might be a big cool-down next week. Check back in soon for the extended outlook.
