11/26 CBS2 Thanksgiving Day Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre

Good afternoon and Happy Thanksgiving, folks! We've got a great afternoon ahead on this holiday Thursday. Mainly sunny skies with just a few clouds and very mild temps will make for a winner of a day. Temps top off at 59 in NYC, perhaps some low 60s in parts of NJ, making for a good opportunity to throw the football around between snacks and before the big meal!

We'll have clouds move in tonight with winds off the water, and there could be some spotty drizzle especially along the coast. Otherwise, expect more sunshine tomorrow with a top temp of 63 in NYC. Not bad considering we're at the tail end of November!

We'll have a few showers passing through Saturday as a cold front works it way into the area. The bigger impact though will be much cooler temps, closer to average with highs in the low/mid 50s. It'll be even cooler Sunday with temps only in the mid/upper 40s.

Have a great Thanksgiving!
