11/22: CBS2 Saturday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre Jr, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

The weekend is here and so is the sunshine...unfortunately it won't be too warm today. Highs will top off in the low 40s...still warmer than Friday though! Some late afternoon/evening clouds roll in ahead of a weak disturbance that could touch off a few brief showers overnight, mainly north of NYC.

Sunday will feature a bit more in the way of clouds, but it will also be warmer. Temps will max out in the mid 50s, which will be a couple of degrees above the norm.

Clouds fill in late and the Sunday night/Monday morning period will feature a period of steady rain - possibly heavy at times. The morning commute looks like a soaker, so bring the rain gear heading to work or sending the kids to school. One good thing about Monday is the temps - well into the 60s, with a few spots touching 70!

Temps back off into upper 50s on Tuesday with mainly sunny skies. Be sure to check back later for our Thanksgiving forecast!
