1/21 CBS2 Evening Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta, CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good evening!

The snow is falling down at the Jersey shore right now and it's finally making its way north.  Although it has about half the power it did earlier today, slick driving is likely with it now being cold enough to freeze on contact.  It will be light in nature and on-and-off ending early morning.  We'll have to see how it develops when it hits the coastline.

Thursday is looking to be a mostly sunny day with temps near 40! It'll be a nice change from today for those who got snow.

Friday is another cold but incredibly sunny day with highs in the upper 30s.

Saturday brings the potential for another snow and rain chance.  A coastal low will form in the south and trek its way north. The track is crucial and the low has yet to form so we need to watch closely.

Monday brings yet ANOTHER chance for snow. Again, a coastal system.

Check back in soon for an update on the busy weather!
