11/19 CBS2 Wednesday Evening Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta, CBS 2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good evening, Tri-State. You don't need a weatherman to tell you its COLD outside -- record-breaking cold actually.

This morning was an absolute January day in the middle of November. Just outside the city, many towns broke long held records for morning lows.

Here near Central Park, we broke out max low daytime high by a degree... we hit 33.

Tonight, it's not as harsh as it has been over the past few nights. Well drop into the low 30s, but that's 10 or so better than this morning.

We get a milder push tomorrow thanks to some southwest winds warming us into the 40s before we drop down again on Friday.

Now for Friday, we dip a bit to the upper 30s, but warm again Saturday to the lower 40s. So a little see-sawing for next 72 hours.

I'll let you know about a big change this weekend in the next update.
