The clouds we have outside right now will stick with us through the night. We'll also have some spotty light rain starting between 9 p.m. and midnight.  While most of our towns will see plain rain, a few spots far north/west of the city could see a wintry mix during the overnight and early morning hours. We're not expecting any major accumulations-- perhaps an inch at most of wet snow with even less sleet/ice, but any of that frozen stuff will make for tricky traveling in the morning rush.

Soaking rain hits elsewhere during the day, temps in the low 50s for NYC and even in the low 60s for parts of southern New Jersey! Winds may also gust up to 50mph across the Twin Forks (more like 35-40mph around the city). Arctic air invades Monday night and sticks with us through Wednesday night. Temps only max out in the mid-30s, with strong winds making it feel much colder, especially Wednesday morning!

One thing is for sure: it's going to feel brutal out there early Wednesday.

Temperatures bounce back to the mid-40s for Thursday and Friday, still a bit below normal for this time of year.
