11/15 CBS2 Sunday Morning Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre
CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good Sunday morning folks! If you step out the door this morning you'll notice one thing - it's COLD! Temps across the area are starting off in the upper 30s around town and down around freezing in the north/west 'burbs. We'll have abundant sun warming things up today to 58 in NYC. Almost ten degrees warmer than yesterday, and a nice finish to the weekend!

Monday looks like a great start to the week ahead with sunny skies, light breezes, and temps reaching the low 60s. We'll have a few more clouds Tuesday with temps in the upper 50s, and some more clouds on Wednesday with temps reaching 61. We'll get a slight chance for showers late Wednesday night.

Thursday looks like the best bet for rain this week as a front nears. It'll be mild ahead of the front with temps in the low & mid 60s! We'll keep an eye on the timing and possible rainfall, but right now you can count on needing the umbrella Thursday. While it makes for tricky travel, we desperately need the rain around here!

Have a great day!
