Today might be the last 60-plus degree day for a while. The dense morning fog burned off early this afternoon and temps spiked.

But the stiff and chilly northwest wind is starting to creep east. This will plummet our temps tonight, dropping NYC to a low of around 40, with many suburbs into the 30s.

Tomorrow starts off well enough with ample sunshine, then clouds return by late afternoon and there is the risk for some rain and show showers overnight into Friday morning. We're not expecting much accumulation, and any white you wake up to will melt as the day goes on.

Some towns to the extreme north, like northern Sullivan and Ulster counties, could get a little more of the white stuff -- and see it stick around a little longer.

Saturday morning is the coldest start yet, with widespread 20s and 30s.
