11/11 CBS2 Evening Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta, CBS 2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good evening all,

What a mild day today! We topped out in the upper 60s in southern portions of our area.

We have one more spring-like day around the area before we get clipped by the brutal cold across the middle states.

One result of tomorrow's mild temps is a dense fog advisory issued by the National Weather Service. Expect drastically lowered visibility on your way to work tomorrow morning -- especially between the hours of 4 a.m. and 9 a.m.

The fog does eventually lift around midday, and the sun returns for a pleasant finish.

Temps start to fall Thursday night, and we top off near 50 by Thursday's end. Overnight Thursday, a weak front will give us a slight chance for a few drops or wet flakes (north and west). But it will have a 100 percent chance of driving our temps even lower.

Friday and Saturday morning are going to be our coldest air yet. Keep checking back in, because now were are really starting to bet busy in the atmosphere.
