10/7 CBS2 Wednesday Evening Weather Headlines

Good evening everyone,

It was a near perfect day today with highs in the low 70s and plenty of sun to go with it. We will drop into the 50s again tonight and only a select few living well north and west will see the 40s.

Thursday is a touch cooler topping off in the upper 60s with a light west breeze. But the sun remains strong!

Friday, a stronger cold front sweeps across the east and some rain is embedded in the clouds. I wouldn't expect much accumulating rain (see map) but if a T-storm trains overhead, expect a more significant downpour.
