10/31 CBS2 Saturday Evening Halloween Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre
CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Happy Halloween evening, folks! It's gonna be a perfect night for trick-or-treating with comfortably cool temps in the low 50s. There will be clouds through the night but it will stay dry. Chilly later with a low of 49 in NYC. Make sure you turn the clocks 1 hour back as Daylight Saving Time ends at 2AM!

Clouds hang tough for a good chunk of the day tomorrow, and there is also a slim chance for a few passing showers in the morning. The NYC Marathon looks OK for now, but it'll be a cloudy & cool start. Clouds start breaking up mid afternoon and we'll get into the mid 60s for a high.

We're watching a storm system slide to our south Sunday night/Monday, but if it bumps up a bit north we could have some more rain in the forecast. Otherwise expect sunny & very mild weather Tuesday & beyond - how about upper 60s & even some low 70s? Considering we should be in the upper 50s, this will be a real treat.

Have a great night!
