10/28 CBS2 Wednesday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Justin Lewis
CBS2 Meteorologist

Heavier showers are expected this afternoon, especially as we get into the rush and evening hours; some roadway flooding/ponding is possible, as well. It looks like it won't be until around dawn tomorrow that we see our wet weather make its exit, so have the umbrella and rain gear on standby until then.

It will be drier and blustery tomorrow with temps soaring into the low 70s (if you can believe it). And with another cold front passing through, we can't rule out a stray afternoon shower to our N&W.

Friday's looking like a beauty, but it will be breezy and a bit cooler... struggling to get out of the upper 50s!

As for Halloween, high pressure will settle in and deliver us seasonal temperatures and a good deal of sunshine.

Check back for more on the rain and your spooky Saturday forecast!
