10 Injured When Fire Breaks Out In Bronx Apartment Building

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Ten people suffered minor injuries Friday night in an extra-alarm fire in the University Heights section of the Bronx.

The fire broke out around 7:40 p.m. in the four-story apartment building at 2332 University Ave. in the Bronx, the FDNY told CBS2.

A total of 100 firefighters responded to the blaze, which was quickly raised to two alarms, the FDNY said.

Ten people were injured, but all the injuries were considered minor, the FDNY said.
