1 Hurt When Tour Bus Hits Scaffolding In Lower Manhattan

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- One person suffered minor injuries when a tour bus slammed into sidewalk scaffolding in Lower Manhattan Tuesday evening.

The double-decker Gray Line bus struck the scaffolding at Broadway and Liberty Street around 6:30 p.m., police told 1010 WINS.

One person suffered minor injuries, and was taken to NewYork Presbyterian Hospital, officials told CBS2.

The bus did not cause any structural damage to the building, the FDNY said.
