1 Dead, 2 Wounded In Early Morning Shooting In East Harlem

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Three men were shot, one fatally, in East Harlem early Tuesday morning.

Two of the victims were found shot inside a parked vehicle around 2:30 a.m. near the corner of Lexington Avenue and 122nd Street, police said.

One of the men had been shot in the torso and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. He was identified as Terry Nathaniel, 23, of the Bronx.

The other victim, described as a 27-year-old man, had been shot in the leg and was taken to St. Luke's Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition, police said.

A third victim, identified by police as a 33-year-old man, was found nearby with a gunshot wound to the left forearm. He was also taken to St. Luke's Hospital and is expected to survive.

No arrests have been made.

The investigation is ongoing and police are looking for a red vehicle that fled the scene, CBS 2 reported.
