Shooting At Harlem Bar Leaves 1 Dead, Another Wounded

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- One man is dead and another was wounded in a barroom shooting in Harlem.

Gunfire rang out shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday inside the Harlem Nights bar on Adam Clayton Powell Avenue.

Police said 22-year-old Jarel Mitchell, of the Bronx, was shot twice in the back and a 24-year-old man was shot in the right leg.

Mitchell was pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital. The second man is in stable condition at Harlem Hospital.

So far, no arrests have been made.
