Both men were ejected from the vehicle, Dennis reported. The passenger in the car was killed, and the driver is listed in serious condition.

Witnesses said the fiery crash looks to be the result of drag racing.

"I'm pretty sure because look at that car, there's nothing left," one woman told Dennis.

The mangled wreck landed just feet from a nearby gas station.

"I heard a very loud noise and I come out to see car in two pieces," the manager said.

He said the man who survived the crash was responsive and talking.

"The guy was normal, not like drunk," he said.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
