YouTube star Caleb Logan Bratayley dies at 13

YouTube star Caleb Logan of the Bratayley family died suddenly of natural causes, his mother Katie confirmed.

Katie announced on Friday that her son had passed away at the age of 13. She posted a note on Instagram: "Yesterday at 7:08 p.m. Caleb Logan Bratayley passed away of natural causes. This has come as a shock to all of us. Words cannot describe how much we will miss him. His incredibly funny, loving and wonderful spirit made us all fall in love with him as a YouTuber, friend, brother and son. We know you tune in to watch each day and eagerly anticipate new videos, but ask that you bear with us while we deal with this tragedy as a family."

On Sunday, Katie shared a video on YouTube of her son the day before he died.

In the video, Caleb talks about what he wants to ask his future self -- questions like, "Is Taco Bell still around?"

Sadly, the YouTube star will never be able to ask himself that. A message on the screen read: "Unfortunately Caleb passed away the day after we made this video. He will never get to meet his future self. None of us will and we are very sad because he would have been great. Please kiss your kids and tell them you love them every day. You never know what day will be their last."

On Sunday, the Bratayley family posted a video showing different clips from Caleb's life, called "Caleb, Gone But Never Forgotten." The family wrote in the description: "October 1st at 7:08PM Caleb Logan Bratayley passed away of natural causes. This has come as a shock to all of us. Words cannot describe how much we will miss him. His incredibly funny, loving and wonderful spirit made us all fall in love with him as a YouTuber, friend, brother and son. We know you tune in to watch each day and eagerly anticipate new videos, but ask that you bear with us while we deal with this tragedy as a family. Please help us honor our, baked potato."

The Bratayley family started their channel in 2010 and have 1.6 million subscribers. Logan is survived by his two sisters, Annie and Hayley, and his mother and father Billy.
