Man caught with dough (hint: it's a "cold" case)

WICHITA, Kan. -- A brazen burglar walked right into a house in Wichita, Kan. and grabbed the dough.

From the freezer.

Cookie dough.

The 28-year-old man was arrested in the early-morning hours Thursday. The Wichita Eagle reports the woman came out of her bedroom shortly before 3:30 a.m. and found the 28-year-old stranger in her kitchen, devouring the dough.

A police spokesman says the man told police he thought he was at his aunt's house and was hungry.

Police say the man, 28, entered the home through an unlocked back door. The 52-year-old woman wasn't hurt.

The intruder was being held on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
