Woman crashes pickup truck into S.C. Chik-fil-A

ANDERSON, S.C. -- A pickup truck crashed into a Chik-fil-A restaurant Tuesday evening, injuring eight people, police say.

CBS News affiliate WSPA reported an elderly woman crashed the vehicle into the eatery around 7 p.m., but the cause of the crash is unclear. The injuries were reportedly minor and no one was taken to the hospital.

From photos, it appears the truck drove through a window in the front of the restaurant from a parking space.

There was no immediate word if the driver was among those injured or whether she faced charges.
