Lengthy appeals process likely for Tsarnaev

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's case will likely spend a lengthy amount of time going through an appeals process, says CBS News legal analyst Rikki Klieman. Tsarnaev, 21, was sentenced to death Friday for his role in the Boston Marathon bombing.

The jury found that Tsarnaev showed no remorse for his actions - a factor that appeared to be key in their decision.

"The jury found that he did not feel anything about all those victims and what he did to them," said Klieman.

Since this is a death penalty case, there will be an automatic appeal. Klieman says it's the beginning of a process that could take years.

"There has not been a federal execution since 2003, we have a long way to go," said Klieman.
