Watch: Women fight at Wal-Mart; boy, 6, gets involved

BEECH GROVE, Ind. - Authorities near Indianapolis are investigating after a video of a disturbing fight between two women at a Wal-Mart surfaced online.

Authorities tell CBS affiliate WTTV the fight happened at the Wal-Mart in Beech Grove on Thursday, June 4.

In video of the incident posted to YouTube, two women are heard yelling at one another before the argument quickly escalates and gets physical.

A 6-year-old boy is also seen in the video apparently egging on the fight and even throwing punches himself. At one point, the boy is seen kicking one of the women and hitting her with a shampoo bottle as the women wrestle on the ground.

It is unclear whether the boy is the child of one of the women involved in the altercation. At one point, one of the women is heard telling the boy to punch the other woman in the face.

The two-part video - which is several minutes long - doesn't show anyone trying to intervene in the fight, other than a few customers yelling for the women and child to stop.

According to WTTV, Beech Grove Police say they are exploring whether to file charges in connection with the incident.

Authorities also say they are alarmed at the behavior of the young boy in the video and question the environment he is being raised in. They are reportedly considering whether to involve the Department of Child Services in their investigation.

Wal-Mart announced Tuesday that they're banning from company property the two women involved in the altercation.
