"Saved by the Bell" cast reunites on "Jimmy Fallon"

"Saved by the Bell" reunion on Jimmy Fallon

The "Saved by the Bell" gang was back at Bayside High for a "Tonight Show" reunion sketch complete with a throwback phone, spot-on outfits and the theme song recited by Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar).

Zack kicks off the skit, entering the familiar hallways by saying, "Bayside High, the home of babes, books and Belding" before introducing his new friend, Jimmy Fallon.

Soon we're joined by familiar characters Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani Thiessen), A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez) and Jessie Spano (Elizabeth Berkley). Noticeably absent is Screech -- played by actor Dustin Diamond, who's had his fair share of legal trouble lately.

Talk centers around a Valentine's Day dance -- who's taking dates and more. The gang, though, is disappointed after their new friend Jimmy reveals he won't be able to make it; he's leaving to try to snag a gig on "Saturday Night Live," host his own talk show -- and maybe just maybe go on a date with Nicole Kidman.

There's more fun references to the actors' present-day lives, too.

Tiffani Thiessen on "White Collar," what's next

The actors remarkably look similar to their younger selves (especially the seemingly never-aging Lopez) -- considering it's been more than 20 years since the show went off the air.

In a recent interview with CBS News, Thiessen told CBS News that she remains close with several of the cast members on the series, adding, "It made it a little easier growing up with other kids in the business. We were a very tight-knit...working family. We had a lot of firsts together...traveling around the world. We got to know each other very well. It's like having brothers and sisters...I still talk to half the cast -- closely -- still a lot," she revealed.
