Watch: Pharrell gets down with dancers in "Marilyn Monroe" video
A lot of buzz is surrounding Pharrell Williams' new video for "Marilyn Monroe, which finds the 41-year-old star surrounded by a bevy of dancers, showing off their moves inside a studio and atop a roof.
The track appears on the 2014 album, "Girl," Pharrell's first solo release since his 2006 debut, "In My Mind."
He recently spoke with CBS News about the musical inspirations behind his new material: "I realized along the way that there wasn't enough purpose in my music. Going back and listening to Stevie Wonder songs and Steely Dan songs, you'd see that Donald Fagen had a purpose. He had an intention. Stevie Wonder was really singing about something."
Pharrell is married to fashion designer Helen Lasichanh.
