Watch Kelly Clarkson and Jimmy Fallon take on the history of duets

Kelly Clarkson and Jimmy Fallon took viewers on a historical tour of duets Monday night during NBC's "The Tonight Show."

"I was actually reading a piece last week that she was having trouble finding people to do a duet with. I would love to do a duet with Kelly Clarkson," Fallon said.

"Did someone say duet?" Clarkson said as she took the stage.

Soon the musical duo started plowing through familiar hits -- from Sonny and Cher's "I Got You Babe" and Human League's "Don't You Want Me" to Elton John and Kiki Dee's "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" and Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty's "Drop Draggin' My Heart Around."
