Watch: Channing Tatum dupes fans, dances dirty at prank "Magic Mike XXL" screening

Channing Tatum performed an illusion Monday that David Copperfield would envy: At a prank screening for "Magic Mike XXL," Tatum posed as a balding marketing executive sent to survey fans about the sequel to his 2012 stripper flick "Magic Mike," only to bowl them over when he removed the disguise and revealed himself.

The actor released a video of the sneaky stunt showing his transformation into the dowdy looking marketing exec and then duping unsuspecting fans into a questionnaire about a 3-D version of the film they would supposedly be screening. But instead of watching a movie the audience actually got some live-action action -- when the lights went down, sexy male strippers planted in the audience rose from their seats and immediately started stripping, dancing and giving seriously overwhelmed fans lap dances.

Then the crew of dancers pulled the disguised Tatum reluctantly in front of the audience, who suddenly began shimmying, twerking and peeling off the goatee and balding skull-cap to reveal the hunk underneath as the crowd cheered wildly.

"I had to fan myself for about 15 minutes," said one overheated audience member. "He was so dear," tossing roses into the audience and giving out hugs.

The videoed stunt is part of Tatum's partnership with fundraising platform Omaze, in which he is inviting fans to play a $10 raffle for a chance to be the lucky fan who gets to join Tatum at the premiere of "Magic Mike XXL." The winner and a guest will be flown to Los Angeles, put up in a 4-star hotel, enjoy a luxury spa day, have a tuxedo or gown fitting, and walk the red carpet for the movie premiere -- and then go to the VIP after-party with the whole cast and crew.

Hopefuls can go to Omaze.com/Magic to pledge $10 for a chance to win the VIP package. Proceeds will benefit the Runa Foundation, which is building world's first medical and research clinics for Amazonian plant medicine.
