Warwick Davis will be in "Star Wars Episode VII"

Great Jedi news today: Warwick Davis, or Wicket the Ewok, will be joining the cast of J.J. Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII."

The 44-year-old British actor, who appeared in "Return of the Jedi" and played the dual roles of Weazel and Wald in 1999 prequel "The Phantom Menace," made the announcement in a comedic video on the official "Star Wars" YouTube page.

In the video, we see an out-of-work Davis waiting endlessly by the phone for the all-too-important casting call from Abrams. Eventually it comes, and Warwick casually accepts the job.

Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hammill are also returning to the film, reprising their roles in the galaxy far, far away. It is not clear yet if Davis will be taking on a new role or returning as Wicket.

Tell us: Who are you most excited to see in the new "Star Wars" film?
