Video: Woman's hidden camera catches alleged peeping Tom

Victim says she caught peeping Tom on video

SAN ANTONIO -- A San Antonio woman says she took action after a close encounter on Jan. 8 with a man watching her through her blinds, reports CBS affiliate KENS-TV.

"I opened my blinds right here, and I was face to face with him but I couldn't see his features or anything," Noel Bracy said in an interview with the station. "That's why we decided to get the camera."

Bracy set a camera on the ground outside her bedroom window, and the next day it captured the man she suspects has been watching her for three weeks. The gray video, which Bracy provided to KENS-TV, shows a man appearing to stare into her window before noticing the camera and fleeing.

"I've been hearing him out there, and I wanted proof and hard evidence," she said. "I've been hearing moaning outside of my window, mostly in the morning when I'm getting ready for work, and sometimes at night."

Bracy said the man later returned to steal the camera, but she managed to retain the recorded footage. An officer with the San Antonio Police Department confirmed to the station that Bracy isn't the only victim. The officer said there have been several similar incidents in the area dating back to June.

"He has no right to be doing this," Bracy said. "He's invading my privacy, he needs to stop, he needs to be caught."

Police are investigating. Anyone with information about the man seen in the video is urged to contact the San Antonio Police Department.
