Video shows view from the world's tallest roller coaster

Hold onto your hat (and your lunch). This is what it will look like to ride the world's tallest roller coaster.

Besting the current champ, Six Flags Great Adventure's Kingda Ka, by over 100 feet, the Skyscraper will take the crown for highest coaster when it is completed in 2017.

Developers recently revealed the video above showing a rendering of what it will look like to ride the planned 570-foot Skyscraper, the centerpiece of an Orlando indoor entertainment complex. The ride will also become the tallest structure in all of central Florida.

Skyscraper will offer four minutes of indoor and outdoor loops, dives and spirals, and will hurl riders in inverted rolls 50 stories in the air, according to the designers, U.S. Thrill Rides. They call the ride a "Polercoaster," an innovation they say "reorients" the traditional coaster concept by taking the same length of track from a regular ride and making it vertical -- pole-like (hence the moniker). It will harness the pull of gravity to propel thrill seekers toward the ground at 65 miles per hour.
