Video: Two injured after van crashes into Fla. restaurant

ORLANDO, Fla. - Dramatic video released on Tuesday by the Florida Highway Patrol shows a van crashing into an Orlando Popeyes restaurant and injuring two people, CBS affiliate WKMG reports.

 

 

The vehicle was driving westbound on Colonial Drive in Orlando when it ran a red light, hit another car and crashed into the chain restaurant back in December.

A woman and a child were injured in the crash and taken to the hospital along with the drivers.

The video was released Tuesday and shows customers scattering as the Lynx van crashes into the restaurant.

It is unknown if anyone has been charged in the crash.
