Video of man calming Baltimore crowd goes viral

There have been only a handful of positive stories out of the Baltimore riots, which have paralyzed the city in the aftermath of the mysterious death of a man in police custody.

One currently making the rounds is a video that a twitter user posted, showing a man trying to calm crowds in front of a line of riot-gear-clad policemen.

In it, the man, wearing a "Punisher" t-shirt with the logo of a popular comic book character, turns toward a crowd of protesters and asks them to back away.

"Do not give them reason!" he yells.

Meanwhile, National Guardsmen fanned out across the city, police with riot shields have blocked streets, and firefighters are still dousing smoldering blazes Tuesday after looting and arson erupted in Baltimore following the funeral of Freddie Gray, whose death in police custody has sparked the unrest.
