Video: Burglars break into drone store for third time in 3 months

LOS ANGELES -- Surveillance video captured five people stealing drones from a Los Angeles store that has been broken into three times in three months, reports CBS Los Angeles.

The burglars used power tools and a blow torch to get through a steel security gate Monday, according to Mike Thorpe, the owner of Drones Plus. They made off with $35,000 worth of merchandise, Thorpe said.

The gate and other security measures were added after similar burglaries in July and August, according to Thorpe. In those instances, burglars who Thorpes believes are the same people, stole a combined $27,000 worth of products.

Police have not said if they've identified the suspects in the latest burglary. Thorpe plans to hire an armed guard to secure the store at night.
