Victoria's Secret Angels Jasmine Tookes and Taylor Hill are living a dream

Tookes and Hill on preparing for Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Jasmine Tookes was a “crazy Victoria’s Secret fan” growing up. She’d host Victoria’s Secret beauty parties in her completely pink room.

“I wanted to be Tyra Banks, I wanted to be Adriana Lima, I wanted to be all of the supermodels,” Tookes told “CBS This Morning” Friday. “And like, I was never the girl that was like, ‘I want to be a doctor or teacher when I grow up.’ And it was strictly Victoria’s Secret,” Tooke said.

Now, Tookes is living her dream. On Wednesday, she walked in the footsteps of her role models at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Paris.

“It was unreal. I mean, so surreal,” Tookes said. “ I felt like I had big shoes to fill.”

Tookes, who became a Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2015, was selected by to wear the coveted Bright Night Fantasy Bra – adorned with 450 carats of diamonds and emeralds worth $3 million.

“I couldn’t step more than two feet away from the security guard before he was like, ‘Where you going!’” Tookes said.

“She deserves it because she’s one of the hardest working girls I’ve ever met,” said Victoria’s Secret Angel Taylor Hill, who joined her friend at Studio 57.

Taylor also became an Angel in 2015. For one of her looks on the runway, she wore black wings that were seven feet tall – one of the tallest of the 43 pairs in the show.

“They were heavy, I mean you know, that’s why I work out so hard,” Hill said.

Hill said her diet and workout regimen to prepare for the show was comparable to that of athletes.

“We work out a lot and eat a lot and try to be healthy and fit and, you know, do what we love... so we can feel our best,” Hill said.

One of the most prominent fashion events in the world, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is expected to be watched by 800 million viewers in more than 190 countries.

Hill said rather than feeling the pressure, she felt more “excited nerves.”

Still, despite trying to stay calm, both Hill and Tookes said they couldn’t help but freak out seconds before hitting the runway.

The full show will be broadcast on CBS Monday 10/9 CT, then posted on Victoria Secret’s website the next day.
