Two more charged in death of N.J. girl riding scooter

PATERSON, N.J. - Authorities say two more men have been charged in the death of a 12-year-old girl who was hit by a stray bullet while riding a scooter in New Jersey.

Passaic County prosecutors said Friday that 21-year-old Jeffery Ellerbee was charged with first-degree murder and weapons offenses and 19-year-old Marshae Anthony also faces weapons charges.

It wasn't immediately known if either had an attorney.

Another 19-year-old, Jhymiere Moore, earlier pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and weapons charges in the death of Genesis Rincon in Paterson.

His attorney says he wasn't involved in the shooting.

A funeral for Genesis was planned for Friday evening at a church in Paterson. Large crowds were expected at a viewing scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
