Two bodies found at site of unsolved 2015 Fort Lauderdale killing

FORT LAUDERDALE -- Authorities are investigating two bodies found shot behind a building in a residential Ft. Lauderdale neighborhood, CBS Miami reports.

Fort Lauderdale police said they received an anonymous call reporting the bodies, whose identities have not been released, near the spot where 67-year-old Robert Regan was discovered on Oct. 5, 2015.

Regan was reportedly harassed in the days before his death after he informed police about drug dealers in the community according to CBS Miami. Regan's killing remains unsolved.

Police said they have no indication that the bodies discovered Tuesday are connected to Regan's killing.

CBS Miami reported that crime-scene investigators were carrying away evidence bags from the scene as police carried out the investigation.
