Two arrested for kidnap, murder of 22-year-old Arkansas woman

RISON, Ark. -- Two Arkansas men have been arrested for the kidnapping and murder of a 22-year-old woman who was reported missing last week, CBS affiliate KTHV reports.

Cherrish Faith Allbright, of Rison, had reportedly last been seen leaving her grandmother's house on Dec. 3 and was reported missing Dec. 7.

The Arkansas station reported that information obtained in the investigation led authorities to Allbright's body, which they recovered on Thursday.

They then arrested Jonathan Guenther, 20, and Brad Hunter Smith, 20, also both of Rison.

The suspects are being held without bond at the Cleveland County Detention Center on charges of capital murder, kidnapping, and abuse of corpse, the station reports.

Allbright's body has been turned over to the state's crime lab for autopsy, according to the station. The investigation remains active.
