True Blood series finale: Are fans satisfied?
R.I.P. "True Blood."
The HBO show's final episode, "Thank You," aired Sunday night, leaving some fans feeling satisfied with the series and others let down by an ending some described as anticlimactic and tame.
Here's what went down (and yes, there are spoilers ahead):
The season 7 finale ended with a three-year time jump, with many of the characters attending a Thanksgiving dinner hosted by the now pregnant Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin). We never see who the father is.
A Funeral: Bill (Stephen Moyer) has contracted a rapidly worsening case of the deadly-to-Vampires disease Hep-V. He asks Sookie to kill him and she does, via stake.
A Wedding: Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) and Hoyt (Jim Parrack) are in love again, and decide to quickly get married so Bill, before he is mercy-killed, can attend the wedding.
A booming business: In a pretty hilarious flash-forward infomercial, we now see that Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) are billionaires from selling New Blood, a synthesis of Sarah Newlin's blood, that looks like Monster energy drink.
A family: In one of the most surprising moments of the flash forward, Hoyt's ex, Bridget, and Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) have kids!
Here's what people had to say on Twitter.

The series finale of True Blood features flashbacks depicting its viewers, in better times, actually enjoying the show.

The only way that #TrueBlood finale could have been any worse was if Bill would have become a lumberjack in the end. #Dexter
